Los Dos Campo de Borja Grenache Syrah

Went well with pasta, sautéed greens and caramelized onion. Mild.

Very full but not too overly "red" or dry. I'm starting to like Spanish wines :)

Deep ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose of mainly cherries and blueberries, plums, red currants, violets, minerals, licorice, vanilla, wood and black pepper.

Full-bodied with high acidity and great legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, pomegranate, red currants, licorice, light vanilla, oak, tobacco, earth and peppercorn.

Med + on the finish, with soft tannins, black pepper and cherries.

A Nice Spanish blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah.
Nicly balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.

14% alcohol by volume.

Really easy drinking. Went well with my eggplant and lentil dish.

Deep brooding purple color. Notes of creosote, fig infused balsamic, reductive blackberry jam. The palate showcases straightforward blackberry fruit.

Too fruity. Flat bubbles after pouring

Fruit forward, medium bodied, hint of smoke on the finish. Nice every day wine!

My initial tasting is raspberry, with a significant peppery presence. The mouthfeel and finish is a bit underwhelming - like I want a heavier mouthfeel and bolder palate with such spicy and lively flavors. Pairs well with popcorn and Brooklyn 99.
