Was a bit light for us. Had at the steakhouse on Carnival Firenze.

Very smooth and drinkable there is a tart sort of cherry taste with the perfect amount of dryness for me

I’m in Rome drinking this, it is amazing!

Valpolicella, one of the oldest wine-making regions in Italy and has been making wine since ancient times. The Allegrini family has been involved with wine making and Valpolicella since the 16th century. The star is Corvina, a dry medium body wine with hints of plum and a clean pepper finish. Excellent pairing with everyday meals, family and friends.

Green pepper and strawberry with dry tannic finish. Not overly fruit forward or complex; better with food. Needs some time to open up and then is more enjoyable

Decent valpolicella, not very memorable and little wow-factor, but decent. Warmth and spices, some oak. Pleasant aftertaste.
