Vintage 2011 | The summum of balance. Unbelievable good Riesling. I usually think Merkelbach must be put away ten years, but I see I found this wine irresistible already five years ago. 😳 what a treat, butterscotch, smell ánd taste. | Paired with Blanquette de Veau and cheeses. Makes my day.

Apr 7th, 2021Vintage 2011 - I think they are Magicians, the two Merkelbach brothers... This is summum of balance, absolutely exquisite. A bit sweeter than anticipated, but who cares? Thank God Its Friday and for this wine, of course 🌞👏
