Medium salmon , copper colour . Slightly herbal on the nose , with some woody notes , orange rind , crystallised lemon peel, ginger . On the palate quite creamy , with more of the orange peel , lemon rind , herbal hints , touch of toast from the oak. Quite high acidity with a slight bitter almond hint . Touch of tannin noticeable . Ok length with quite good balance, quite unique though a little rustic overall. This is drinking well but I would imagine it can hold for another 3-5 years . The second best wine of the night with the food.
