Almost a brandy tasting. Not a fan at all. Glad some others seem to like it.

Deep ruby glass with translucent Crimson rim. Big complex nose of blackberry, plum, violets, licorice, vanilla, smoke, tobacco and pencil shavings. Medium body and mild acid bring blackberry, Bing cherry, leather and dark chocolate. Medium tannins lead to a nice long finish of black fruits, chocolate, and black pepper. Very good balance and structure make this merlot/zin/cab/Syrah blend a very good sipper or rich food mid-week drinker at nicely priced $15.98 USD.
