Albert Mann
Vieilles Vignes Alsace Pinot Auxerrois

Pretty, subtle nose. Great intensity on the palate with pear, almond, honey and chamomile flavors. There’s a distinct bitter apple skin component to the finish, an unusually phenolic character. I very much enjoy the interplay of fruit, spice and herbs but I would advise another year in bottle in the hope that the tannins soften a bit. If drinking now, be prepared to serve with charcuterie, intense cheeses and the like.

Another roll of the dice. Let's call this one a push. Hard to complain at this price...
