Headed down the tubes. This one is on its final decline. Starting to show some very tart, acidic, vinegar notes in the front and middle. The tobacco and dark black fruit rich characteristics have faded quite a bit, leaving a legacy and a footprint on Texas wine that will never soon be forgotten!!

MUCH BETTER than the 2010 Palette. the palette was pretty much gone but this wine is still kicking. On the nose, blackberry, dirty black fruit and mulberry notes abound. The entry is more of a bramblier fruit. A little dusty. Acidity had pretty much resolved on entry, and this one really was showing a lot of rounded dusty and somewhat dried fruits. The middle includes almost sort of an almond dryness. Finish is a little bit short, a very tiny bit tart. I'd say that this is probably one of the better non 'El Guapo' wines that Alamosa made, and this one probably could go another 1-2 years.
