Good value in an everyday tablewine. Jammy, dark fruit and light tannins.

Fruit forward, blackberry flavors. Good body, smooth, but with stronger tannins. Nice, would drink again.

Subtle aroma but not boring. Taste of dark fruits with spicy aftertaste. Great Malbec!

Pennsylvania finally has wine in supermarkets, and I couldn't resist to take a look at what they offered. Picked this bottle up for $9.99. I didn't have high expectations... oh and how wrong I was. This is a true expression of Malbec. Alcohol sits at 13.5%, and the color has the signature magenta hue on the rim. Heathy doses of blackberries (from the hint of Syrah and Bonarda), dark plums, violets, black pepper, leather, earth, and rocks. What makes this wine interesting is it's unique dark milk chocolate palate and dill spice from light oak aging. Also, the nose just seems so clean. It's almost like you are standing on the top of a high mountain. The clean and crisp air from the area really transfers into the wine. Acidity is balanced and shows balsamic characteristics. Firm tannins... I'm pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend picking this up. Cheers!
