2019 vintage. Medium-heavy body and mouthfeel but on the prettier side. Chambord, violets, ripe plum and cherry all jostling for your attentions. Tannins fairly difficult to discern currently. Nicely made. Want more of a traditional CDP outline but think it may take a decade to even open that door and explore. If you’ve got the space and means, pick up 3 bottles. Hit one in the next few months, one in 5-7 years and the last one in 17-20 years as a hard experiment. Zero experience with older vintages of this particular offering and genuinely curious where it may lead. 3.8.23.

Supple dark fruits and spices. Tight and fine tannins. Even though 15% abv, the alcohols is not showing itself as much as it actually is. Really good.
