This is peak drinking. Prune, dried cherry, ripe blueberry juice baked in sweet spice, lavender, licorice... Intensely flavored, full body, soft tannins, nice long finish of all those sticky dried fruits. I love this wine.

Very good classic CdP, but seemed a little more advanced than the last bottle. Definitely declined on day 2, so I say drink up...

Needs a few more years for peak drinking. Very tasty nonetheless

Black raspberry/cherry. Very fruit forward. Thick, viscous body. Dark purple color. Great with Thanksgiving dinner. Could hold for several more years

A beautiful wine showing chewy and creamy texture, plentiful black fruit, spice, and development. Beautiful black raspberry and spice on the nose. Dark and inky color. Mouthcoating and delicious. Long finish. Just a bit of rusticity in the tannins. This wine pivots from savory dishes to a curried dish to a dark chocolate dessert very nimbly. Excellent.
