Pretty wine but high acidity. Needs some air and room temp to shine.

Great producer of Crozes who’s wines are of high quality at a reasonable price. This showed dark berry, smoke, olive, licorice, mineral, graphite & floral notes. I was fortunate to meet him for the 1st time at this years 20th anniversary dinner at La Paulee. He happened to be the only non Burgundy producer to attend the 1st dinner back in 2000 with Roumier, Roulot, Dujac, Lafon & other legendary Burgundy icons. He was very humble & genuinely a nice person.

This needs time but already can tell it’s major. Olive, meat, mineral, high acid. Strength and elegance. Magnum.

First of our ‘16s...even with time in the decanter still a bit green & rather acidic. Cranberry, roast meat, slate, sour cherry, iron. Nose is lovely, palate evolves, but wait on these.

This was very acidic and leathery. Perhaps delicious if you're a smoker.
