2012. Cannot say enough about this wine. Personal preferences definitely come in to play here, but this 100% Nerello Mascalese is red fruit, smooth and fine tannin, well balanced, and a jewel of Sicily. Wow.

Dec 6th, 2014Has a good deal of light cherry and cranberry fruit with an array of wild flowers and herbs this wine has a bit more stuffing with fine tannins and a firm hand of acidity very nuanced a bigger wine than the cappuccio very dry finish but has lively balance with tannins on the finish has a bit of an animal note to the finish. Finish 45+

Local grape. I haven't felt this kind of taste before, very special. Fruity and juicy. The taste seems to be with higher red fruits ratio. @1100/g, FLV, 170512
