The quality to price ratio on this one is off the charts. Liquid summer, full of red fruit and spice. A brilliant t heavyweight at 14%abv but wears it lightly. Nose like a Volnay with violet and cherry, still dark and youthful in colour. It’s a feminine wine full of elusive qualities, perfumed and elegant. For $41, they are practically giving it away.

Nice deep flavour, darker red fruit light on nose but stronger flavour, fruity, light spicy, very little tannin or non existant

What a beauty! Not a shrinking violet. Starts with subtle flavors of cherry, spice, and a touch of funk , but as it opens up., Cola, sarsaprallia, dr. Pepper, smores and comes with a nice balance in acid. Fruit driven initially with texture elevating as it opens. Well done!

Red fruit forward, heavier for a Pinot noir, but definitely an NZ Pinot
