Il Grigio da San Felice Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese

Can’t tell if it’s tight & needs time/air to loosen, or it’s just a bit meh & uniform on the palate. Fairly bright red cherries, plus acidity, & decent concentration. Have another bottle to test but overall just a bit too sleek for my taste, even though I don’t think this vintner works in a modern style.

More fruit forward than I would have expected from a reserva. Beautiful taste without being overly wood flavored
