No formal notes . Medium garnet colour , some lightening at the rim but still youthful appearance . Aromatic from the beginning with spice , dried herbs , rose and red cherry notes . On the palate good depth and complexity , still quite a lot of red fruit to complement the herbal and anis notes . Fills out well and offers good length with quite polished tannins and balanced acidity . Drinking perfectly now , will continue well over the next 5 years or so . This was a positive surprise .
