Adulam Winery - Merlot 2012
This Israeli Merlot has a light red ruby color with a pink rim and a very light intensity.

Fruity nose with cherries, strawberries, blueberries, plums, vanilla, French oak, licorice and cloves.

Fruity on the palate, as well, with blackberries, blueberries, oak, vanilla, plums, cherries, dirt, spices and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Medium finish with soft tannins and peppercorn.

This 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% petite Syrah is nicely balanced and ready to drink now.

This unfiltered Red, is Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels. Wine is made at a very small winery at the Judea mountains that produces only a few thousand bottles a year.

14% alcohol by volume.
