This held up nicely with steak - we had it with chateaubriand . I was impressed with how multi-layered it was and its depth of flavor. . Starts with sour cherries or blackberries, acidic but not overpowering. Finishes like dehydrated strawberries, black hen of the woods earthiness, nice peppery notes throughout.
