Much more than a full-bodied white Rhone blend. Not flabby at all despite it big palate and many dimensions (part of the wine was fermented in Oak ) It keeps some freshness due to the maritime influence of the Pacific but also shows character and weight in the mouth

This held up nicely with steak - we had it with chateaubriand . I was impressed with how multi-layered it was and its depth of flavor. . Starts with sour cherries or blackberries, acidic but not overpowering. Finishes like dehydrated strawberries, black hen of the woods earthiness, nice peppery notes throughout.
