Anna's Vineyard Syrah

fruit driven #syrah dark fruit, peppery, vanilla and coconut

Enjoyable and interesting Syrah.

Adelaida is an old sentimental favorite of mine. Underrated stuff from Paso's west side.

Smooth. Medium bodied, not overpowering. Was nice with food but could alternatively drink alone.

Cherry and...tomato? High alcohol.

Dried flowers and spice. A little savory, bright finish. Better after decanting

Has that ketchup tomato taste? I still don’t know what that is. Maybe past its prime a bit. Loving the fruit and tannins.

Blackberry, dark chocolate, earth.

2008 still proving to be an amazing year. The tannins have largely melted away by now, and we're left with the smooth, spicy fruit of this unique year in Paso. Absolutely incredible.
