I have to admit, Mr. Spittoon has good taste! He had the duty of getting the wine for the night and he picked this Great Southern Riesling from Dan Murphy's for $17. The AdHoc Wallflower Riesling is brought to us by Larry Cherubino Wines.
It's a silver-lemon colour on the eye, so crisp and refreshing looking in the glass. On the nose I pick up whiffs of apples, lime, orange blossom and a touch of baking spice. Apples intertwine with lemon sherbert on the palate and it all ends with a lovely juicy finish. Yep I'm marrying the right man - he knows how to buy wine!
