Opened tight and needed an hour to unfold. Petrichor, dark chocolate, espresso, raspberry and a super long finish. Continues to gain weight and complexity after a couple hours.

10 yrs young. Will last another 5. Fruits and Tannins still doing their job in harmonious unison. For the price point- hard pressed to find a better Spanish red.

On day 1 this was too hard and hot, the second day the wine came together, but with 8 years of life it still tasted like a baby with an enormous big palate of jammy flavours, alcohol, acidity and port-like aftertaste. Will it ever come together?
