More fruity and floral than the 2012 from this producer, with a final crispness that keeps it interesting.

Apr 10th, 2014MICHAEL'S WINE NOTES https://www.facebook.com/rosescafe1 #rosescafe1 This 2012 Pinot Grigio (Pinot Gris) from 3 Blind Moose was a heck of a deal at $2.95/bottle. This California wine is spicy on the attack and crisp in the finish, with tones of lemon and lime. A distinctly refreshing white, and proof that a good wine doesn't have to command a "snooty" price. Pinot Gris (Pinot Grigio is the Italian clone) means "grey pine cone" (sort of) in French. That's probably because the grape clusters are reminiscent of pine cones, and the grape itself is a sort of off-blue/grey color.
