Ripe black cherry, blackberries, black plum on the nose with perceptible Brett. On the palate, the wine is dry. Acid, body, alcohol and tannins are med plus. Dried herbs and violets on the palate with same fruit as on the nose. The oak provides some chocolate and coffee. Good fruit concentration and length. Significant inorganic rocky minerality -- nice. One of 13th Streets better wines. 2012 vintage (the hot one). $30
