On to the red wine! Too young but I wanted to try the first bottle of the batch for a baseline. And there's unsurprisingly oak, but Vosne spices too underneath, black cherry, hint of earth, touch of reduction...think the raw material is here, and it will get much better, just needs 20 years! #rockthered #letsgocaps #capspens #openthewhoopass — 7 years ago

@Billy L. yeah, I'd say if you have multiple bottles of them all, go ahead and check in. Sample them on open, but '05 probably still needs a decant, especially the GCs...it was a big year, I wouldn't be surprised if there was 200% oak on some, if not most, of those wines.
