Happy #aussiewinemonth guys! Introducing the new Tintara Geology range from @hardyswines! There's a Shiraz and a Cab Sauv in the range and they hail from McLaren Vale in South Australia which is famous for being one of the most geographically diverse wine regions in the world! The vineyards for the Tinatara Geology range are at an altitude of 50-200 metres and are planted on an array of soils including; red brown earths, terra rossa, Rendzina, soft sands and dark cracking clays. Some of these soils are over 600 million years old!
So what's the $20 2015 Shiraz like you ask?
On the eye it's a brilliant magenta colour with spicy plums and oak coming through on the nose. In the mouth it's juicy, easy drinking and screams out to be matched with BBQ night.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #gifted #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes #hardysgeology — 8 years ago
