Each July wine leaders and passionate enthusiasts from around the globe unite on the Niagara Peninsula to celebrate the most beloved white grape: Chardonnay. The International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration brings together guests and industry members with winemakers from several of the world’s “coolest” growing regions to the heart of Canadian wine country, where they’ll pour over 160 different bottles over the course of an epic weekend of grand tastings, seminars, dinners, and more.

FRIDAY – July 20
The School of Cool
7:30am – 5 pm, White Oaks Resort
Join i4C special guests and Keynote Speaker Jon Bonné, author and wine writer, and some of the brightest talents in the world of Cool Climate viticulture and winemaking as they explore three provocative topics with accompanying tastings.
Industry Networking Session
3:30pm – 5pm, White Oaks Resort
A meet-and-greet event for international winemakers and media and Ontario wine-industry guests, with a selection of Chardonnays and sparkling wines poured by their makers in a collegial setting.
Flights of Chardonnay
7pm – 11pm, Niagara District Airport
Tour the world with one glass at the kick-off celebration of the i4C weekend! Guests will explore Chardonnays from all corners of the globe, poured by their makers. Sip incredible vintages in one of the coolest venues in Niagara while watching the sun set over the runway.
SATURDAY – July 21
Cool Chardonnay World Tour Tasting & Dinner

8:00pm – 10:00pm: Al Fresco Feast served Family Style with a "world tour" of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Gamay

The signature event of the i4C weekend, the Cool Chardonnay World Tour showcases the world’s best Chardonnays and Ontario’s best cuisine, in the spectacular courtyard of Ridley College. Chef Craig Youdale (Canadian Food & Wine Institute at Niagara College), Chef Ross Midgley (Ravine Vineyard Restaurant) and the dream team of the region’s top winery chefs will rise to the occasion, creating the ultimate family-style menu.
SUNDAY – July 22
Moveable Feast Brunch
11am - 2pm, Ravine Vineyard
This perennial favorite is returning to the classics. In partnership with local artisan producers, our culinary team will present a classic brunch menu highlighted by regional flavors that pair perfectly with Cool Climate Chardonnay. This is the final event of i4C weekend and the last opportunity to break bread with our international friends.
