Blend of Corvina (60%), Rondinella (30%) and Molinara (10%). Deep ruby color with a garnet tinge. The nose and texture are quite “Pinot Noir-like” with aromas of earth, spices and herbs. The palate is ripe red cherry/berry focused with hints of cocoa, baking spices and fresh herbs. Touch of pepper on the finish. Fresh tasting and vibrant. Velvety tannins. Pretty restrained for an Amorone.
