2024/7. Deep purple red, dark enough to surprise. Dense and brooding, altogether too young to drink now - which is refreshing in a way. Concentrated, almost raisiny fruit, spice, minerals and oak on the nose. Alkaline and a little bitter from asa-yet unresolved oak on the palate. It’s Bouchard, so it shouldn’t surprise, but I will be leaving my other 2020s for a bit.
