The wine is called “Rød”, which must sound like “red”, Van Duzer Corridor AVA, estate grown blend of Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch. Ruby red, very good clarity, moderate pigment extraction. Butter, raspberry and blueberry aromas, cherry and blackberry flavors with undertones of coffee, blueberry, raspberry and cranberry. Somewhat tart, moderate seed tannins. Native yeast, aged 19 months in neutral oak. Needs time to open
