Brise Cailloux Cornas Syrah

So elegant- tasted blind, at first thought Moulin Vent or a gutsy Nebbiolo. Floral with some charcuterie on nose. High pitched, cassis, roses, some minced light sausage. Beautiful texture with integrated fine tannins, very smooth. Yum.

Lovely expression of the terroir in Cornas. Very fruity and (perhaps surprisingly) not at all on the heavy side of Syrah.
