2007v. Opened 12/2018. Lots of sweet, sunripe fruit: strawberry preserves, raspberries, a little blackberry. Tannins still had a little grip when first opened. The body is very notable: it's got some syrupy viscosity without feeling heavy. At 15%, the booze is noticeable but not way out of balance. Overall it's not bad but it's not lacking those complex notes of garrigue or black olives that you sometimes get w CdP.
