On this Thursday night I have opened the 2010 Château Chauvin 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
On the nose is beautiful black fruit , black cherry, black raspberry, black plum, black currant, herbaceous notes, mocha, vanilla, violets and graphite.
On the palate the rich black fruit pushes through with black cherry, black raspberry, plum, black currant, lots of green bell pepper, licorice, spice and crushed gravel.
