This is my first Carmenere since I visited Chili in 2015. Aged in older barrels so no strong oak or vanilla notes but still noticable. Medium-bodied with plumb and chocolate notes. Pleasant and very drinkable. I wonder how this grape will express itself without the oak aging.

Really nicely balanced red. Plenty of complexity. Very smooth.

Great example of this grape & now classic Chilean style. Fruity, strong body, long lasting, plums, chocolate & berries. Very good with meat & tomato based sauces, cheese & antipasto. Will definitely try again 😎

It’s not as good as I remember at the winery. Good with lamb. The nose is green, more pepper than eucalyptus, and darker red fruit with some funky fart. There’s a bit of white pepper on the palate with green pepper at first (a lot of it) and eucalyptus working it’s way in. The balance seems off with the fruit taking a back seat.
