More viscosity and weight than the 2015, but displaying a lot of the same aromatic complexities. Citrus, mango and spices with a quirky note of saline sea spray. Great depth and density on the palate despite being just a tad heavy. Once some of that girth has shed it’s going to be a beautiful wine, as always.
