One of those aged gems you are sometimes lucky enough to find on a Wine List. Aromas of wilted rose, rosewood furniture, leather and savoury red fruits. Fine powdery Tannins. On the palate medium bodied, fading towards the end after time in decanter finishing with a faint touch of bitterness. A fine example of aged Chinon.

Surprisingly vibrant fruit with a little fresh vine and habanero and a bit of ash, it is drinking incredibly well.
