Nov 6th, 2019Last bottle of Plumpjack I will ever drink. I think the wine is overpriced for its mediocrity. Way too much acid, no finish, overspiced. Considering it’s owned by the biggest fraud in the US, Gavin Newsom, I’m not surprised but this solidifies my decision to never give them a dime.

Deep purple color. Black licorice and another candy note I couldn’t quite pinpoint - peppermint maybe - on the nose. Dark cherry and cassis notes with great texture and balance. A fun wine to enjoy on its own.
