Earth ... Soil watered with morning rain. Greenery, rosemary, sage, stewed blackberries, with an overlay of vanilla wood. Beautiful long finish. Medium plus tannins. Wow so complex, I know I'm missing a ton. This sit atop my yearly list. Awesome 👍😎😎

This is my second time trying Delectus wines and so far I love them. I've had the Julia, this is the 2013 Boulder Falls Cabernet. This is a big, chewy cab that I probably should have waited on. But it definitely opened up after 2 hours. Flavors of ripe black cherry and raspberry dominate with some sweet oak on the finish. These folks do some nice wine coming out of Knights Valley.
