Second wine at 150 Central Park. Super dark purplish ruby red. Only decanted for two hours but still has some smoothness with excellent structure. Dark nose with blueberries, sweet tobacco and minerality. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Power house wine. Stunning structure with dark crushed rocks, blackberries, spices, cassis, herbs, and a little bit of blue fruit. Rich and long finish. Drink till 2045.

This inky concentrated blend of cab sauv/franc is so suave, smooth straight out of bottle, which is amazing for such a a young bottle. Loved every sip, from the initial encounter 'til the wine evolved an hour after the uncorking. Reminded me of a 1990 Ch. Leoville Las Cases, a second growth Bordeaux which throws punches way above its weight class and coming from me, a truly high complement for a Napa cab blend.

Larkmead nailed it in 2013! The nose on the LMV Salon showed intense red raspberry, minerals, blueberry skins, sweet tobacco and minty herbs. On the palate, it displayed silky textures with pulsing minerality contrasted by ripe fruits. Black currant, cherry, and blueberry were all present, yet seemed to play in perfect unison. A sensation of classic structure and tannin defined the finish, along with notes of cherry, herbs, minerals, and dark chocolate. Simply gorgeous.

Cranberry, cherry, floral and baking spice. Hint of green pepper that is beautifully integrated. M acid, m+ body and tannin. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, mint and sweet tobacco. Long finish. Balanced. Still big. Just needs time.
