You just can’t go wrong with a medium rare sirloin and a good Napa Cab. This bottle is likely from the 2012 vintage given when I bought it on release (gone are those sub $90 days).

No need to decant here as it evolves beautifully in the glass. Black and blue fruit, mellow tannins, with a bit of fresh acidity on the backend that gives it great structure. Some tobacco, mocha notes to add to the complexity. A nice little treat for the weekend!

Happy Mother's Day! Assuming this is an '11-'12 vintage blend. On the nose, really surprising fruit bomb. Blend of dark fruits and plum. Definitely needs some time away, but after an hour+ decant, it really showed some complexity and the tannins smoothed out.

Likely from the 2012 vintage. Straight shooter with lots of fresh dark fruit. A bit better than the last one we opened - also from the same batch. Still have a few more that will be fun to follow.

Made mostly from 2012 grapes. Loads of potential here from a great vintage.
