Structured, even austere upon opening, a little air time made this slightly more approachable. Nice herbal, woodsy and smokey aromas, palate offers an interesting mix of delicate red fruits (cranberry, currant, rhubarb) creeping out from behind a stern stony and metallic countenance. Not a hedonistic or exuberant wine but compelling, probably more so with additional time.

Light, acid, one you would wish you always had a bottle of.
