Gamay from Morgon (Vieilles Vignes) with Trousseau from the Jura. I have a feeling the gamay went through carbonic maceration and the trousseau was fermented conventionally. The gamay brings a freshness, a pop, whilst the trousseau is adding body, velvet, almost richness which is quite incredible for a 12.5% wine. There's summer berries, perhaps raspberries typical of Beaujolais with the trousseau adding further interest. Chalky tannins, crunchy acid, Ganevat is such an intriguing vigneron. Very enjoyable wine.
