Jan 26th, 2019Not as pretty as the 2014. Nice red fruits, herbs, low tannins. Surprised to see 14% on the label as this drinks quite light. Touch of bitterness in the finish but the wine really fleshes out with 45mn of air. This is a real enjoyable wine.

My first Pelaverga ever(no pun intended), fortunately it doesn't taste like one. But it grows on you, lol. About the wine it tastes like a Barolo, with juicy Maraschino cherries, currants and a smidge of spicy Angostura bitters. From hitimewine.net

Рябина, подбродившая клубника, сушеные травы, белый перец, каперсы. Легкое, почти тощее тело, яркая кислотность, суховатые танины. Легко и подвижно, тонко, прозрачно, без особой грации, просто и контрастно.

Burlotto! Another beast, so young but the the youth really works, for me, with this varietal. You gotta love the name of this grape, Pelaverga! haha really fun stuff, Forza!!!
