RLF Paso Robles Pinot Noir

I think this is the first Pinot from Booker - it's a masculine fruit forward style that reminds me of the Meiomi/Belle Glos style

Nice but I’d say the wood is overpowering the wine here.

2014 Vintage. 14% Alcohol. 2 years from my prior post and this is similar but velvet mouthfeel now.

Lush, rich berries with a bit of funk and spice. Very nice.

Interesting. Very smoky and meaty. The most Syrah-like Pinot I've ever experienced. Not something I'd choose every day, but fun for a change.

Received from allocation and my first time having. Overripe blackberries and cinnamon on the nose. Blackberry cobbler and stewed fruit mid. Jammy and juicy. Light Finish that keeps you wanting more. Should have decanted as so young, but hoping it will open up significantly while we're at dinner. I would say hold on these bottles.

Good Paso pinot, but grapes harvested from coastal sites in San Simeon & Arroyo Grande
Their first pinot is worth a try, I'll definitely buy again,

Holy crap ... serious extraction & made in the booker “hear me roar” hi volume posture. Not for the meek and delicate Pinot lovers.
Drink it now. While enjoyable at this time, can’t see this style improving with age... put a slight chill on it.
