Right wine but it is from the Ardèche and is Syrah, not a blend.

Deep ruby. Intense aromatic, dark fruit, earthiness, mineral. Fine acidity, medium to full bodied, very balanced, with smooth sapid finish.

Classic silky Rhone goodness. Clay and subtle unripe cherry fruit mid with a bit of garrigue and oak. Light and without much of a finish. (EDIT: Give it some time. It opens up with some blueberry and a touch of charred meat, giving more character to the experience.)
