Disappointed. Compared to good barbaresco, this wine has a muted body, thin structure, low tannins, and is not prominent on the nose. The taste gets to about mid-tongue before dissipating, so you can’t really savour it. Some unripe berries in the fruit, maybe ribes. Certainly not getting the tobacco and other elements people point to. It’s well made but not above 90.

Elegant aromas of dark cherry(mostly) tabacco. Med body, med p acid, med p tannin, med p intensity, bitterness tabacco on the first palate and fruit red cherry follows. can't wait this wine ages. Approachable barbaresco, wouldnbe lovely after 3 to 5 years, can be drunk from fatty primi(agnellotti with buttersage sauce) to lamb chop with rosemary.
