Say what you want about Michel Rolland, but this exudes sooooo much character and is becoming a secondary stud! Killer fruit profile with damp earthen elements at its core. Shares some of the same blue clay soils as it's neighbor (Chateau Petrus!). Thank you to Marcelo and Henri Parent for hosting me and my wife for our stay in Pomerol at the estate!!!

Stewed black cassis, blueberries, black licorice, menthol, mint, herbs, saddlewood, soft minerality, dry twigs, dark chocolate, vanilla, violets and nice acidity. Still needs another 7-10 years to reach it's full potential.
