Firing on all cylinders... If kirsch was raspberry... ethereally heavy... perfumedAF... thin shell of dark chocolate... rich and savory... comfortably exotic... this is Alicia Vikander.

Opened tight and needed an hour to unfold. Petrichor, dark chocolate, espresso, raspberry and a super long finish. Continues to gain weight and complexity after a couple hours.

10 yrs young. Will last another 5. Fruits and Tannins still doing their job in harmonious unison. For the price point- hard pressed to find a better Spanish red.

On day 1 this was too hard and hot, the second day the wine came together, but with 8 years of life it still tasted like a baby with an enormous big palate of jammy flavours, alcohol, acidity and port-like aftertaste. Will it ever come together?
