Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Cherry cordial, candied citrus, mulling spices. Balanced. For a normale Brunello this has a good number of years in front of it.

Concentration and power developed into into huge aromatics and balance with a standard decanting.

I didn't think this was ready to drink, but had try it on for size... This will benefit from cellaring, but is incredibly open with a little air!

Violets, tart cherries and slightly earthy aromas. Drinking remarkably well for such a young Brunello. Tannins mellowed with extensive decanting. Looking forward to tasting this again after some aging.

Excited to try this bought on pre-sale. Lots of hype on the 2010 vintage. It's delicious great ripeness and power, tannins are surprisingly soft, but acidity is taught and it will go some distance. Glad we got some..

Very balanced, drinking beautifully right now. Ripe plum, black cherry, blueberry, a hint of tobacco. This 2010 vintage deserves its praise. Back in the US after 11 years in China, liberating the wines that have been waiting for me.

Stand out Brunello in my book, one of the best I’ve had. Soft and elegant, balance of dark fruits and earth.
