Alto Adige Lagrein

Not overly aromatic with tart blue/black fruit and slight Brett from big French oak barrels. Not bad---but not great either.

Mineral, pencil shavings, graphite, chives; lighter bodied

A hearty Lagrein, almost meaty.

Tart fruits and fresh acidity. Alpine wine with a clean and pure floral nose.

Side by side of lagrein tonight. This is a bit more rustic and deliciously dirty

Little bit on the dry side, but it still has a very good taste, definitely a fan of reds so I might be a little biased. It also has a very good scent to it which helps. This wine is a definite go.

Restrained fruit, high mineral, bright acidity, softly structured tannins. Pairs well with many different foods.

Incredible dinner at Spoon and Stable for our anniversary (belated).

Braucht nach dem öffnen sehr viel Zeit um das Aroma zu entfalten, etwas trocken, könnte fruchtiger sein

Juicy as all hell and damn tasty.
