Vineyard 101 Zinfandel

Very dry and does have sour notes, but still has a smooth finish. Notes of cherry.

One thing Turley has is some incredible 'ancient vine' vineyards, this one is right next to the 101 just north of Healdsburg, crazy site.

Very nice dark fruit with a little heat that blew off with air. Less acidic than some recent Turley which I have had but still nicely balanced.

Meaty rich flavor with a spicy finish. Nose is nearly overpowering (in a good way). Notes of ancho and coffee. The type of wine that keeps giving more with every taste.
